The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Using the skills learned throughout the training, individuals or groups can assist their community or workplace following an emergency event when professional responders are not immediately available to help.

This training includes an online lecture portion followed by an in-person, hands-on, practical portion.
The course is FREE and you will receive a CERT manual in class and CERT kit upon course completion.

♦ Estimated Time = 12 hours
♦ Access it on your mobile device or computer.
♦ Complete it at your pace and at your convenience.
♦ Course progress will be saved automatically and can be paused and resumed later.
♦ You will receive the link to the online portion of your training once you successfully register.
♦ Certificate of online completion must be presented to instructor at the hands-on, practical portion of your training.

♦ Estimated Time = 8 hours (normally completed in 1 day).
♦ You will receive scheduling information about the hands-on portion of your training once you register and a class is available.
♦ You must attend all days and times in order to receive a final certificate of course completion.
♦ Minors under the age of 18 can attend the in-person training with an adult, as long as their parents/guardians sign a hold harmless agreement.
