MISSION
Davidson County Amateur Radio Emergency Services exists to organize, develop and maintain a group of amateur radio operators who are skilled and trained to provide emergency communications support in Davidson County, Tennessee. DCARES provides a focused and rigorous approach to training, exercises and drills for the purpose of developing each member to their full potential.
MEETINGS
Third Tuesday of every month at 205 Downeymeade Drive, Nashville TN 37214 Time: 7:00 PM
WEEKLY NET
We conduct a weekly net on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m. on 442.750 (100 tone). Our backup frequency is 146.670. Our simplex frequency for emergencies is 146.550.
MEMBERSHIP
We are continually looking for new members who are willing to use their amateur radio skills to serve the public in Davidson County, Tennessee. If you are interested in being a part of our team, view our membership page and complete an online application.
